Our history
Lavender angustifolia Platinum Blonde®
Platinum Blonde® is a registered trademark of the Momparler variety of Lavandula angustifolia, which was discovered in our Momparler nurseries in Castellón de Rugat (Valencia, Spain) in mid-2012. This exceptional lavender won multiple awards in 2012 from IPM-Essen, Plantarium, and Iberflora Innovation, and was a finalist in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, recognized as Plant of the Year 2013. IPM-Essen, Plantarium and Iberflora innovation and a finalist in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show recognized as plant of the year 2013.
Characteristics
What makes it unique?
- Variegated leaf with active growth.
- Low maintenance and irrigation.
- Flowering from spring to autumn.
- Maximum height between 40 and 60 centimetres.

Its fragrant bluish mauve flowers appear in mid-July.

The stem has a compact growth habit, so pruning is not necessary to achieve compact potted plants.

Variegated foliage that is always actively growing, with shoots in shades of yellow, white, light green, and even cream; and grayish in winter.
